BUSINESS ARCHIVES OF NORRLAND

500 years of corporate and industrial history from northern Sweden.

More than 700 different archives.

The Business Archives of Norrland is a non-profit association which assists businesses and corporations in record keeping matters and long-term storage of archives. We also provide access to the archives in our reading-room.

Our main tasks are to collect and preserve of business archives; to provide storage in a safe environment at a relatively low cost; to provide qualified record keeping services for businesses; to promote research in business archives; and to contribute to the collaboration between the industry and archival science research.

Today we store and maintain 2300 running meters of documents, pictures, tapes, microfilm and ten thousands of maps, plans and blueprints. The holdings represent 500 years of industrial and corporate history.
